I'd been wanting to make a ballerina sculpture for quite some time, but there's so much ballerina based artwork out in the world, I knew I needed to make something different. So I made a big fat ballerina with a very pleasant, confidant face, and accordion-ed feet. She still seems very light on her toes however. Which is good.
